What does simple healthy eating look like?
For me it’s about 10 minutes or less in the kitchen most days!! I make sure to keep things on hand so that I can whip up something fast!! Things I always have in my fridge: Romaine lettuce, arugula and spinach Several different Primal Kitchen salad dressings because they use avocado oil and not those unhealthy ones with the bad oils and added sugars Lots of veggies including carrots, celery, tomatoes, onions, broccoli, brussel sprouts and cauliflower Avocados in my fruit basket on my counter that holds our lemons, limes and apples A freezer full of grass fed ground beef, local bought chicken breast, local bought fish, shrimp, and scallops Because my fridge is stocked with this things, when my kids decide they want a taco night, I can simply take their taco meat and throw it on some romaine with carrots and dressing and voila! Dinner is served for me!! This salad was scrumpdiddylumptious and loaded with protein and lots of veggies!!! Don’t complicate eating healthy! Don’t tell yourself you don’t know how to cook healthy!! Speak life over your eating and put a little intentional effort and thinking into what you buy at the store and keep in your fridge and you will be amazed at how your kitchen confidence will grow!!!
